This listing is for a trio of Candy Corn decorations made with stained glass, soldered together,  encapsulated with lead came, and finished with a copper or black patina. They are a true stained glass product, unique and handcrafted. As they are a trio, you will be receiving 3 individual Candy Corn decorations with a chain on each.

Stained glass is a long, pain-staking process described briefly below:- Think up a design! Anything works but you need to be careful of the sizes of the pieces in the pattern, curves and materials you will be using.- Refine the design and transfer to the glass. In my case, I take a hand drawn design, import it into Corel Draw, re-make the design using the origional as a reference and then print the design onto vinyl. With the vinyl, I can transfer the design to glass and I wont have any issues with it while cutting and grinding.- The next step is cutting the glass. This is a careful process and often painful one. Glass is very sharp when it is cut, before it goes to the grinder and often times can lead to needing band-aids.- After the pieces are cut out, they need to have the edges grinded down so that everything fits together perfectly. A little bump in the wrong place can make a nice design look like a mess.- Once everything has been ground down, the glass gets wrapped in a copper foil. The copper must be put on precisely, without bumps, creases or gaps. Its very easy to make a mistake here so this is very time consuming.- Now that everything is wrapped and ready, you assemble the whole design and solder everything together! The front, back and sides all need to be soldered and a lot of attention goes into making sure the bead looks good. Can't have any bumps, pockets, bubbles, or flat spots.- Finally we get to clean-up and polish. Thankfully, this is a quick process and the most gratifying as I get to see the beauty in what I first drew up!Please be aware, any purchases made during weekends, holidays or pre-ordered items may have delayed shipping due to available services or products made on demand.
